Maxeda DIY Group can only be successful if everyone in the organisation is prepared to serve those who serve our customers. We call this ‘A Passion to Serve’. This eagerness to be of service characterises every level of our organisation, from the shop floor all the way up to senior management.

‘A Passion to Serve’ has nothing to do with subservience. On the contrary, serving others is what gives us our strength. This is a frequently underestimated virtue in fulfilling ambitions that has been demonstrated time and again by famous people, such as freedom fighter Nelson Mandela, football legend Frank Rijkaard and entrepreneur Frits Philips. These men achieved success in their very different endeavours because they subordinated their own interests to those of the group. This is what we at Maxeda DIY Group are also striving to do. ‘A Passion to Serve’ is a corporate culture in which cooperation is the rule of thumb and the customer always comes first.
